PLACE OBJECTS
3DStudio Max Script
PlaceObjects lets you quickly snap items on a terrain or any other surface. It doesn't have to be vertical. The script will snap on the first object it will encounter.
HOW TO USE
First you'll have to add the items you want to place in a list. The front of the items is aiming towards positive-Y.
After you selected the objects the script is able to place, you can start placing the objects anywhere on a surface.
If no surface is found it will place the item at Z = 0.
After you placed the object, you can rotate the object in any direction you like. With another click the object is set and placed.

You have to option to let the script randomly choose an object, or select yourself. You can also add a Z offset.

While placing objects, it can always happen that the script picks an item randomly that you don't prefer at that moment. In that case you can hit the CTRL key and it will pick another from the list.
TUTORIAL MOVIE
Down here you will find a movie of the script in action.
